Here on the earth, it's just old me and these leaves to blow and they've gotta go They fell on the ground and that sound that they make under your feet is death coming for me(?) Here I stand today, no I won't be blown away, not in my driveway But don't you see, that these trees are still bright and green these ain't my autumn leaves! cause it's a simple kind of war i'm fighting with the fallen leaves I'm trying not to knock the door as it's racing quick for me polka dots and driveways and it's the only world I've known be sure to count you own days when the leaves and me have flown here I am and the end is a comin' just a take me up into the next something and then we'll get see if it's the leaves or me that'll be Just so, thankful and peaceful and pleased to be your mother nature lover preacher for breeze whose annals are written on the leaves of these trees
